Director's Note on "ZILCH":

ZILCH is an experimental film that is mostly a collection of short music videos put into one. What I wanted to experiment with was creating a longer piece of work and try to fit in a few of my own stories, instead of just the stories of the songs used. Most of the experimenting was in the editing phase, and trying new techniques, like the strobe effect and what not. Some people ask what the film really means but it was a very spontaneous film to create. ZILCH really means nothing at the end of the day that's why I named it that. There wasn't much story, all I really had planned were some locations and the songs that I wanted to use. Once we got to the filming location it was really up to how I felt with my friends. In retrospect I look back at portions of the film and see some meaning that I might've subconsciously put into it while editing. It was just practice and not meant to look deeply into, unless you really find something in it that I don't...then great. Interpret it however you’d like, that is arts purpose.
